Art of Acting Online (AOAO)

Crafting characters that light up the screen. Yes, even the computer screen.

Welcome to The Art of Acting Online (AOAO), an exhilarating 8-week virtual journey crafted to reignite your passion for acting in today’s digital Hollywood landscape.

As the wise Roman philosopher Seneca once said, “Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.” In today’s industry, it’s essential to hone your online acting skills so you’re fully prepared when that opportunity comes…probably in the form of an exciting email.

I’ve meticulously designed my AOAO class to cater to both new actors and seasoned professionals. Together, (w/a special guest teacher) we’ll delve deep into the vital, fundamental skill of script analysis to uncover character clues that might otherwise be missed. Plus, we’ll play with a variety of fun imagination exercises meant to get you out of your head and into the heart of the character’s story.

My approach centers on strengthening your creative foundation. Over these 8 weeks, I’ll challenge you to maintain your artistic integrity while developing the technical skills needed to create outstanding self-tapes. Together, we’ll ensure that your online auditions stand out, and (more importantly) that your art shines as truly exceptional.

Whether you’re just beginning your journey or are a seasoned performer, this class is custom-tailored just for you. And it provides a supportive, diverse community from all around the country. Or, in some instances, from all around the globe!
